What Can The Mets Expect With David Peterson?
The Mets have been teetering back and forth whether top prospect David Peterson would make his Major League debut tonight against the Boston Red Sox. The Mets are a bit short handed in the rotation with the recent loss of Marcus Stroman’s calf injury. The three options the Mets have for tonight’s game are Peterson, right-hander Erasmo Ramirez, and the option of having a bullpen game. There is no better upside than letting the 24-year old hulking left hander make his Major League debut tonight. Continue reading

Mets Exhibition Takeaways
The New York Mets played a pair of exhibition games against the New York Yankees over the weekend as both teams ramp up for Opening Day this week. While I would’ve loved to see the Mets at least play one more exhibition game prior to Friday, we’ll settle for two and send our undivided attention to Friday’s afternoon opener against the Atlanta Braves. 5 Prospects That Could Make An Impact For The Mets In 2020.
For the most part the Mets starting lineup, starting rotation, and most of the bullpen is set, barring any sort of injury during Spring Training 2.0. However there are still a couple of bench spots that could be up for grabs, as well as a couple of potential back end spots in the bullpen avaliable for Opening Day. I’m also under the assumption that the Mets will put a few of their top prospects on their taxi squad in order to avoid stunting any development due to no Minor League baseball occuring this season, as well as having them avaliable in case a need arises due to injury during this abbreviated season. Let’s take a look at a few of the top prospects who may make it up to the Major Leagues at some point during this 2020 campaign.

Predicting The Mets 30-Man Roster
BASEBALL IS BACK! While it may have taken a painfully long three months to get to this point, the excitement of America’s pastime returning is in full bloom. With Spring Training 2.0 slated to begin July 1st, and the 60 game regular season beginning on July 23-24, I thought it would be a great time to predict the Mets 30-man Opening Day roster, and potential options for their taxi squad.
